Clarifying the vision
We run exercises to help management teams expressly formulate the vision they have for the kind of company they want. Staff are brought on board by joining project teams to make the vision a reality.
Motivation and Performance Management
We work with a number of small to medium-sized companies to develop competency frameworks and appraisal systems tailored to their needs - systems that really work for the client. Results of developing a competency framework can be a simple two-page dictionary of those competencies required by the company for its future growth and success to fully documented booklets showing levels of competence required for different roles within the company.
HR Management
Bridge Marketing Partnership can be a great source of help to an organisation's HR management needs - whether you outsource your HR to Bridge Marketing Partnership or use Bridge Marketing Partnership to coach new line managers and/or inexperienced HR managers. Our services include development of staff handbooks, writing HR policies and procedures, providing advice and guidance in handling disciplinary issues and tribunal cases and resolving employee issues through investigation and mediation.
Research
With Sunley Management Centre, we were involved in a European-funded project to research the recruitment methods of companies with fewer than 50 employees. We helped develop a competency framework to assist companies from recruitment through to performance management. At the time of the project, recruitment was not recognised as an issue within the Investors in People standard. We are pleased to see that today IIP publish The Recruitment and Selection Model - a good practice guide to getting the people you need. We have also undertaken a number of salary surveys and staff surveys. Mintel have published four reports written by Carole.
Management Development
We have many years' experience, from earlier days at Price Waterhouse and Aston University to more current times, of assessing training and development needs and designing, delivering or recommending programmes to help improve the performance of managers and staff.
Communication
We act as facilitators for organisations' staff days, team building events and business meetings. Clients have included a housing association, a distribution firm working through dealerships, charities, and a sound engineering training and recording company. This work has been more recently progressed by Carole's accreditation as a TetraMap facilitator.
