Coaches and Mentors
Your personal mentor
How can you be sure this club will meet your needs? A programme has been set out which may cover areas you really want to develop but may also include skills at which you are already expert.
How prescriptive is it?
At the very first session, executive coach Jane Honeybourne will work with you to help you set goals for yourself this year – what you expect to achieve from the programme and what impact this will have for you and your organisation. We know that some people will have given lots of thought to what they want to get out of this club and others may just be thinking about turning up to what promises to be interesting sessions from interesting speakers. Whether your idea of goal setting and planning is about the results, the systems, the feelings or the vision, we will help you guide your thinking across this spectrum.
You will be helped all the way through the process over the year by the group members; everyone will be introduced to TetraMap and Time to Think, two incredibly powerful approaches to thinking that will give you tools and techniques to help yourselves and each other to become more successful in your careers and businesses.
Almost all of the speaker sessions are limited to two hours of a four hour session, which gives us, all the participants in the club, two hours to focus on members’ issues. The training in thinking tools will mean that no one is prescribing what you should do but rather, helping you to think through issues and problems to come up with your own action plan.
I’ll be taking the role of your personal mentor. I will meet with each of you between sessions so that you have a chance to discuss your progress and what you are getting out of the club. I’ll make suggestions for keeping you on track - I may recommend a book, a video or other such resource or possibly suggest engaging a coach or mentor in a specific field if that would help you achieve your aims faster or more effectively.
