PROgress Business Clubs
There is a group of talented people out there who will progress in their careers if they can gain the confidence, polish, skills and/or knowledge they need to gain advancement. As the owner/managing director of your company, you have identified this talent within your organisation and need to find ways to retain and develop them. PROgress Business Clubs will help you to do just that by focussing on the skills not taught on an MBA, e.g. creative thinking, influencing,
negotiating and presentation skills.
What makes this programme different?
Groups will be small to guarantee active learning. Facilitators and guest speakers are eminent in their fields and have track records to ensure that they are worth listening to. Guy Browning, former Guardian columnist, will be one of the speakers. One of Guy’s books, Innervation: Redesign Yourself For A Smarter Future will serve as a blueprint for the year as the topics addressed in our workshops are all discussed in his book. Participants will also learn from the input of other experts. Other speakers include one of the Secret Millionaires from the Channel 4 programme, a BAFTA award winning producer, and the author of Quick Win Digital Marketing.
Three other factors make this club different:
- Members will be introduced to TetraMap, a behavioural analysis tool which gives great insight into individual behaviours and enables better understanding of behaviours that are different to our own. TetraMap exercises will be used to develop individual’s interpersonal skills and will also give club members a common language to use during the course of the year.
- The introduction of Nancy Kline’s Time to Think, which will offer techniques for developing questioning and listening
skills will be taught by a Master Practitioner.
- A coaching and or mentoring programme specifically tailored to the individual participant is available. This will incur an additional cost and will depend on what is required.
The structure of workshops
Workshops will be held just outside Stratford upon Avon, for half a day each month, starting with breakfast at 8am and ending at 1pm with a light lunch. Each meeting will allow participants to raise their own concerns and issues and give them the opportunity to get input from the facilitator(s) and other club members.
Making it affordable and practical
Your talented employees may wish to attend every session but they also might want to pick and choose which are going to be most beneficial to them. As a company, you can take out a membership in PROgress Business Clubs which will allow you to send up to two employees to each event. You also have the option to make substitutions so different people can have the opportunity to attend.
